一、教学目标:  

 1.听懂、会说、会读和会拼写单词及短语milk, a cow, else, taste, pull up 及其中动词的过去式。   

2.能听懂、会说、会读日常交际用语和句型Did you like the film? It was a funny cartoon. We all liked it very much. What did you do ? I   

3.能听懂、会说、会读单词 a holiday, last, a farm, a carrot, fun, collect   

二、重点难点: 能听懂、会说、会读、会拼写单词和词组holiday ,last ,early, before, did, taste, pull up, milk及其中动词的过去式   

三、课前准备: 投影片、录音机、磁带、多媒体电脑   

四、教学过程:  

Step1 Free talk   

T:Good afternoon.How are you ?  

Let’s enjoy a cartoon.You can sing after it.            Ss watch Ali baba's farm.  

Step 2 Pre-reading  

1.T:We know Ali baba has a beautiful farm.Do you like it?  

Let’s go to the nice farm.  

    So today we will learn “Unit5 On the farm”.             Ss read.   

2.T:Last National Day I went to the farm with my family.  

Do you know when’s National Day?                              Ss:…  

Teach: National Day,holiday,last,wonderful  

3.Teach:did,pick oranges,taste ,else,milk cows,pull up carrots  

T:Do you want to know: What did I do on the farm?  

You can ask me :…                       Ss: What did you do on the farm?  

T:I picked oranges ,after picking them,I tasted them.  

Do you know: What else did I do?         S: What else did you do?   

I milked cows,then pulled up carrots.  

3.Teach:water trees,collect eggs  

Guess:What did my daughter do?             Ss:Perhaps…  

4.Teach:simple past tense(简单介绍一般过去时的语法知识)  

Can you find the rules?                  Ss 找规律  

  Play a game:find home  

5.Make a dialogue with Ss.  

  Ss work in pairs.  

Step3 While reading   

1.T:Our old friend Helen went to the farm too?Now she’s meeting Nancy.What are they talking about ?
