4.      能用书面形式续编故事的结局,并能表达出来。
5.      能够学会合作,互帮互助,完成任务。
教学重难点
1.      能用英语表达自己的想法。
2.      能用大部分的英语对故事进行续写。
3.      能生动演绎这个故事的一个或几个章节。

Some of them watch the show.
邀请部分学生进行表演汇报,展示阅读后的成果。
Step 2
Who acted well?
 
You can use: loudly/ low/ clear/good
 beautiful / fluent(流利)
           nervous(紧张)
            ...
You can also use: very, quite, a little, so, too…等程度副词。
Students will talk about this show according to this form of evaluation.
注重生生间的评价。
教师从不同的维度进行引导,给学生能够提供评价的参考,搭建了更多的支架,让学生有话可说。
程度副词的运用能增强语言表述的精确性。
Step 3
 
Try to figure out which character you like or don’t like. And why? You can take out your story and try to find the clue of your answers from it.
Work in pairs:
Share their opinions with each other according to the story.
通过两两交流,分享阅读的心得。理解可以是从不同的角度,张扬个性,只要有理有据,为孩子提供表达自己内心真实想法的平台。
Step 4
Give the students some advice when they are writing.
由小组组长确定谁负责resource的搜集,谁是designer, writer, or presenter.
 
The teacher will give them some pieces of paper to help them.
 
The teacher can also help the students when they need help.
Group work:
One of them finds information.
One designs the ending.
One is in the charge of writing.
One is a presenter.
After finishing, they will communicate with others.
设计任务,小组合作分工完成,做到分工明确,人人参与,培养合作意识。
续编故事能延续对故事的学习兴趣,更能发挥学生的想象力和创造力。
Step 5
Sing a new song
《EMPEROR STYLE》
教师将故事梗概和自己所想的简单的ending用歌曲的形式唱出来。
新颖之余,培养了学生的兴趣,有效提供孩子另一种英语学习的路径。
