Material Analysis:
This is a story for students of Grade 6. The topic is healthy eating. It’s tells a story of Mr Ling’s changes that the healthy diet brings to him.
 
Learners Analysis:
The students of Grade 6 are able to under the story, grasp the main ideas and details of the story, as well as the new words. At the same time, they are able to learn the importance of a healthy diet.
 
Teaching Objectives:
1. The students can know about healthy food and unhealthy food.
2. The students can understand the main ideas of the story.
3. The students can develop the skills of skimming and scanning.
4. The students can realize the importance of a healthy diet.
