Unit9 Shape第一课时教案

    三、教学目标:

1. 认知目标:

四会单词:shape, teach, fly, us, the sun, the moon;

三会单词:square, rectangle, circle

四会句型:What shape is it? It’s a/an…  

三会日常交际用语:Come to the blackboard and show us how to do it.

2. 能力目标:

a.学生能理解课文内容,并运用所学单词和句子讨论物品的形状。

b.深入挖掘教材资源,利用图片、课文语境等教学资源帮助学生理解课文中的生词,并初步培养学生的猜词能力。

3. 情感目标:

通过巩固、运用环节:Talk about dream house和家庭作业:Make a dream thing的设计,激发学生学习英语的兴趣,并提高小组合作的意识和能力。

四、教学重点:

1. 能听懂、会说并读准形状类单词:square, rectangle, circle

2. 能理解并复述课文内容。

3. 能利用所学单词和句子讨论dream house。

五、教学难点:    

1. 能理解并复述课文内容。

2. 能利用所学单词和句子讨论dream house。

六、教学准备:

课件;课文理解练习;课前每同桌选一张dream house图片;若干个不同形状的彩纸 (用于奖励和制作dream thing);自制的dream ship;板书;

七、教学过程:

Step1. Warm up

 师生交流:What’s your name? How are you? How old are you? Do you like…? What do you like? Can you…?

Step2. Presentation

1.      T: Boys and girls, this is not only an English lesson, but also an Art lesson. I’m not only your English teacher, but also your Art teacher. This class, I will teach you about shapes.

Teach: shape, Art, teach, about. Meanwhile make phrases.

2.      T: Look at the blackboard. What is the boy doing?

S: The boly is flying a kite.

Teach: my—fly,  fly a kite, fly a model plane

T: The boy has a bag. What shape is it?

  It’s a rectangle.

Teach: rectangle

T: What shape is the bag?

Ss: It’s a rectangle.

T: The window is a rectangle, too. What else is a rectangle?

S: The door is a rectangle…

3.      T: Is his kite a rectangle?

Ss: No, it isn’t.

T: It’s a square.

Teach: square

T: Can you draw a square?

Ss: Yes, we can.

T: …, please come to the blackboard and show us how to do it.

4.      T: Look, it’s a kite, too. What shape is it?

Ss: It’s a circle

Teach: circle

T: How many circles can you see?

S: I can see five circles

T: Can you draw it?

S: Yes.

T: Come to the blackboard and show us how to do it.

5.      T: The circle looks like a sun or a round moon.

Teach: sun, moon

6.      Read the words and phrases

7.      Read the text after the tape, the teacher, in roles, together.

Step3. Consolidation

1.       T:Boys and girls, today I teach you about shapes. This time let me draw some shapes.

在板书上画出一房子轮廓,并问:What shape is the roof/windows/door/it?

T: (画完)What’s this?   Ss: It’s a house.

T:Please take out the house you draw before class, then talk about it with your partners. Before that, I would like to show you two new words.出示并领读:roof, chimney

T: We can also change the sentences.将板书中的What shape is it?换成What shape is the …?将板书中的Come to the blackboard and show us how to do it. 换成 Come and show me how to do it.

T: Who can make a model with me?

师生示范:T: Look at the house. What shape is the window?(指一窗户)

S: It’s a rectangle.

T: How many rectangles can you see? S: I can see four.

T: Can you draw a rectangle?   S: Yes, I can.

T: Come and show me how to do it. S: OK.上台在板书上画一长方形

同桌操练、展示

Step5. Homework

1.       Read the text after the tape five times.

2.     Try to retell the text.

3.     Make a thing that you like and talk about it next class.
