教学过程

Step1 Greetings

T: Good morning, boys and girls.

Ss:Good morning, Miss Wei.

T: What’s the weather like today?

Ss: It’s sunny.

T: Do you like this weather?

Ss: Yes, I do.

T: I see.Sit down, please!

Ss: Thank you.

Step 2 Presentation

1. Teach “cold”

T: It’s winter. I don’t like winter. It’s too cold.Now, I’m cold. Are you cold?

Ss: Yes. I’m cold. (呈现课件,读单词)

2. Teach “hot” and “tired”

   T: We are cold. Now, let’s do some exercises, OK?

   Ss: OK.

   T: Ready?

   Ss: Go.

   T:Stand up ,sit down, go to bed, stand up,jump,go running, play basketball, play football…

     OK.Stop here, sit down please.

   Ss: Thank you.

   T: Now, I’m not cold. I’m hot and tired. (呈现课件,并读单词cold和tired,注意tired的发音)

     Are you tired?

   Ss: Yes, I’m tired.

   T: OK.Let’s watch a film and have a rest.

3.  Teach “What’s the matter? “and “ill”.

 A  T: Oh, I’m sorry. What’s the matter? (表情呈现焦急状,然后停顿5秒左右,课件呈现句子)

     用At和water引导学生读吗matter.学生单独说句子

   S: What’s the matter? (第三个学生说后)

T:I’m ill(边说边咳嗽,然后呈现课件,让学生读)

 

B   T: I’m ill. And the match girl is ill, too.Now, let’s ask her together.Hi, girl, what’s the matter?

Ss: Hi, girl, what’s the matter? (课件呈现卖火柴的小女孩的回答I’m ill.)

4.       Teach “hungry”

T: The match girl is not only ill.Look.she is standing out of the window and looking at the food on the table. If you are the girl, what’s the matter? Guess.

S: I’m hungry.

T: Here’s an egg for you.

Ss: Thank you.(Ss work in pairs)

5         Teach “Why don’t you …?”

Look,here’s …for you, you also can say “why don’t you …?”(学生读3到4 遍,继续pair work)

6         Teach “thirsty”

T: The match girl is also looking at the water .Guess? What’s the matter? You are the match girl.

Ss: I’m the thirsty.

T: Thirsty, thirsty, I’m thirsty. (Read the words; use the sentence to work in pairs)

Step 3 Consolidation

1 T: The match girl is ill, hungry and thirsty. What’s the matter with Mike? Let’s have a look.Now, you are Mike. (呈现组图操练句型)

2. T: Mike isn’t very good, and Liu Tao isn’t good, too.What’s the matter with Liu Tao? Answer my question. “What’s the matter with Liu Tao?”

3. Read Part A

3 Make a wish

 圣诞老人帮卖火柴的小女孩完成愿望,用所学句型。

Step 4 Assign homework

1.       Finish Part C

2.       Read Part A and act it out.
