本单元的能够充分理解享受动画内容并表演学生能够学会关心身边的人。

教学目标

1、学生能够说出20-50的英文

2、能够运用How much is it/ are they?询问价格,并用It’s/They’re …yuan.进行回答。

能力目标:1. 能够充分理解享受动画内容并表演。

2.学生能够在生活情景中运用买卖用语进行交流。

教学过程

Step1 Warm up

1.  Greetings

T wears the pig headwear and greet with students.

T: Excuse me, I’m not Miss Zou.

  Let me introduce myself now.

I’m Pig Billy. I’m a shop keeper. And there will be a Christmas sales promotion in it.

So I want the best shop assistant. Would you like to have a try?

2. Competition

Who answers T’s questions right can get a prize. Who gets the most can be the best shop assistant.

T: If you can answer my question right, you can get a prize. The one gets the most can be the best. So try your best, OK? 

3. Learning aims

T: If you want to win the game, you need to grasp the following skills:

(1) I can say the numbers.

(2) I can talk about the price.

(3) I can enjoy and act Billy’s sales story.

Step2 Lead in

1. Game1: Get the goods

Play the sound of phone ringing.

T: Excuse me, someone is calling. Let’s listen.

Play the record: Billy, your goods have arrived. Come to get them.

T: Boys and girls, my goods have arrived. Let’s go to get them together.

Rules: Students should read out the names of the goods loudly and correctly, and then Billy will use the basket to catch them.

2. Revision: story time

T: Thank you for your working. But attention here. These three goods are also in the charity bazaar.

What happened in the charity bazaar? Let’s try to choose.

(1) Try to choose

T: So what would the children like in the charity bazaar.

Liu Tao would like these shoes.

Yang Ling would like these socks.

Mike would like this umbrella.

(2) Try to fill in

At last, Su Hai and Su Yang say: We have twenty-eight yuan.

3. Guess and say

T: But look. Here is a fan. How much is it? (Circle the fan showing in the charity bazaar.)

Can you guess?

I will give you some choices and read what you see.

Show the price: ¥5 ¥12 ¥15 ¥19 ¥26 ¥38 ¥45 ¥52

Ss try to guess the price.

Step3 Fun time

(Preparation: a box with the goods card)

T: In my shop, there are more goods. But how much are they? This time I will give you a chance to guess the price.

(1) 老师示范

T shows an example first.

T takes out a card from the box and asks: How much is it/ are they? Guess!

(T gives some choices on the blackboard to let ss choose and guess.)

Ss try to guess. If right, T will high five with ss and say yeah! If wrong, T will say I’m sorry.

(2) 生生互动

Then, ss try to guess the price.

The one guesses right can get a prize.

Step4 Cartoon time

TWe have the goods and we know the price. So let’s open the shop. Listen who is coming.

Show the picture of Bobby and Sam.

Ss: They are Bobby and Sam.

1. Watch and find

What would Bobby like in the shop?

A.     B.  C.   D.

2. Listen and choose

How many would Bobby like?

A. Nine.  B. Ten.  C. Eleven.

3. Read and underline

T: Bobby is a boy. But he needs ten bowknots. It’s really surprising. Why does Bobby buy so many bowknots? Try to read the story by yourselves, you can also underline the key words or sentences.

(They are for my sister Tina. Her tail is long.)

T: But what is a tail?

Show the picture of Sam’s tail.

T: This is a tail. (Teach: tail)

Ss read the word in different volume according to T’s gestures.

T: This is a long tail.

Ss: A long tail.

T: Is my tail long? My tail is short. (Teach: short, a short tail)

4. Read and imitate

T: You now know the story. Let’s try to read and imitate. Pay attention to the rising tone, falling tone and stress.

While reading, asking a question: What’s the difference between how many and how much.

5. Happy reading

Read together can get a prize.

Read in roles can get two prizes.

Act in roles can get three prizes.

Step5 Consolidation

1. A surprise: ask and answer

T: After a day’s training, what have you learned? Let me check. If you can answer my question right, you can get a big surprise.

Q1: 当你问顾客是否需要帮助时,你可以说?A1: Can I help you?

Q2: 当你想夸奖顾客好看时,你可以说:A2: How beautiful!

Q3: 当你想问顾客想要多少时,你可以问:A3: How many would you like?

Q4: 当你想要顾客是否要这个时,你可以问:A4: Would you like this?

Q5: 当顾客想问它现在的价格时,他可以问:A5: How much is it now?

The surprise is under the question. It’s the profile of Santa Claus.

2. Enjoy some pictures

Play Christmas song and show the pictures of some shops on Christmas.

3. Choose and talk

T: All the shops are having Christmas sales promotion. It’s your turn now! Use what you learn and select a situation. Try to talk with your customer.

Situations: a toy shop/ a stationery shop/ a fruit shop/ a clothes shop

Shop assistantCan I help you?

Customer: I’d like …(a doll/a pen/some apples/some socks …)

Shop assistant : Would you like this/ these?

Customer: Yes, please./ No, thank you.

Shop assistant : What about …(that/those/the blue one/…)?

Customer: Yes, please.

                  How much … now?

Shop assistant : It’s/They’re… yuan.

                         Here you are.

Customer: Thank you.

4. Best shop assistant

The one get the most bowknots can get a real bowknot from Billy’s shop.

5. Ticking time

(1) I can say the numbers.

(2) I can talk about the price.

(3) I can enjoy and act Billy’s sales story.

T: How many stars can you get?

Step6 Homework

1.Read and try to recite.

2. Make a new cartoon..

3. Preview Sound timeSong timeCheckout time and Ticking time after class.
