译林版《英语》五年级上册Unit3 Our animal friends这一单元讲述的主题是动物朋友。在单元整体学习后,同样出自译林出版社的跟上兔子系列《Mother! Dear Mother!》这一绘本有效拓展了本单元的主题教学。绘本主要围绕动物朋友有没有妈妈展开,课堂教学采用诗歌、角色扮演、文本续编的形式充分激发学生语言学习的兴趣,并在轻松愉悦的氛围中,促使学生高效习得各项读写技巧与策略,为单元整体的拓展学习打下坚实的基础。 | |||||

(1) 能整体理解绘本内容,会读并尝试表演其中某一片段。 (2) 能听懂、会说、会读、会写重点句型:Does a .. have a mother? Sure! A .. has a mother. Just like you and me. (3)能正确描述不同动物妈妈的形体特征。 (4) 培养学生自主阅读的能力,让学生情景体验和在合作学习的过程中养成好习惯。 | |||||

本课主要是教材内容的拓展与延伸。课前学生已对五上Unit3 Our animal friends的教学内容进行了单元整体学习,并熟知本单元的重点词汇与句型,三单has的正确区分与表达。本节课教师要善于分析学生对语言点的掌握情况,充分发挥平板“随文识词”“逐句跟读”等功能在课堂上开展有重点且扎实有效的绘本读写活动。 | |||||

Step1. Lead-in 1. Boys and girls, I’m so happy to see you here today, so I prepared a beautiful poem for you. Let’s try to read it beautifully together. 2. What’s the poem about? Bingo! It’s about mother. We all have a mother.But do animals have a mother too? Of course! They have a mother too, just like you and me. Step 2. Picture book 1. Today we will enjoy a story about mother animals. Look, What can you see from the cover? Name of the book: penguin(贴板书) There are two penguins, a big penguin and a little penguin. 2. ①So does a penguin have a mother? Sure, a penguin has a mother. Just like you and me.(呈现文本,贴板书) What does the mother penguin look like? 呈现文本 解释a little bit ②演一演Can you walk like a funny penguin? Let’s read it, you two just be funny penguins, and walk around the classroom. 3. Look, There are two giraffes. (贴板书) 指板书,问Does... 引导学生板书回答 Look at her, What does she look like? Can you be a giraffe? Let’s read this part together, and act a giraffe. 引导学生复述板书,朗读文章。 4. Actually there are many other mother animals in this picture book. Do you want to know them? Try to find them in pairs. Pair work: (两人一组,完成以下步骤): Step1 Open the APP “一起小学” on your ipad. Step2 Scan the story from P4 to P12. (快速浏览,无需跟读) Step3 Find out and try to read the names of the mother animals from P4 to P12. (试着在“随文识词”功能的帮助下,读出这些动物名) Try to read: 贴动物图片和单词(除了青蛙毛毛虫) 5. You have found these mother animals now, do you want to know more about them? Work with your desk mates. Pair work(两人一组,完成以下步骤): Step1 Read P4-12 after your ipad. (逐句跟读) Step2 Find out the characters of different mother animals, and fill in the form.(每跟读一段,即可完成表格中相应动物妈妈的特征,并试着把有关特征的关键词读出来) Step3. I love my mother! 7. Try to retell: A penguin has a mother. She ... A giraffe has a mother too. She ... A ... ... What’s more? 8. It’s sweet! I think these baby animals and mother animals are very happy because they can stay together. But there are two little poor things they don’t know their mother. Do you know their mother? Who is tadpole/caterpillar’s mother? ...(贴青蛙蝴蝶) Great! Can you... I think you can be a writer too. Try to write: Does a ______have a mother too? ______! ______has a mother too. Just like you and me.She is/looks ______. She has _______. Is your mother______ too?/Can your mother______? 9. Actually the writer of the book has written their parts. Let’s enjoy it together. Can you find something strange here? This word is in capital form. Here’s some information for you. (科学小课堂) Do you want to be your mother one day? No? Why? Maybe your mother is sometimes funny or stern to you, so you don’t want to be like her? but I believe although she is sometimes funny or stern, she will love you forever. Just like any other mother. 《Mother! Dear Mother!》这一绘本主要围绕动物朋友有没有妈妈展开。课中,涉及到多种诵读文本,如课前的诗歌猜谜导入,课末的诗歌温情诵读,尤其是绘本每一段落反复呈现的词句Does ... have a mother? Sure! A ... has a mother. Just like you and me.充分奠定了整节课的语言和情感氛围,激发了学生语言学习的兴趣。每一段文本结尾的问题Is your mother ...?自然过渡到后续文本,使高年级的口头表达与交流不再枯燥与乏味,并在这样轻松愉悦的氛围中,孩子们得以高效地习得各项诵读技巧与策略,为单元整体学习后的拓展与提升给予了充分且高效的保障。 总之,教学中,我们要时刻以英语新课程标准为指导,以活动为方式,变课堂为生活,借助情景教学法,直观教学法,多媒体教学法等为手段,使学生肯学,要学,乐学。 |
