基于单元主题,优化project教学

教学内容分析

本单元教材呈现了第五至第八单元的语言知识,和同学进行问答活动,了解我们周围的公共场所的标识,培养学生的环保意识。现在,全球面临着资源短缺、环境污染、生态破坏这三大危机,作为地球公民,师生有责任就“保护地球”这一话题进行探讨。教师在教学过程中要联系生活实际,引导学生热爱地球、保护地球。 

教学目标

1.能熟练掌握6-8单元的重点词汇句型以及语法知识。2.能灵活运用6-8单元的日常交际用语。 3.了解“reduce reuse recycle”三个关键词。 4.培养学生爱护家园、节能环保的意识。

教学重点和难点

教学重点:了解“reduce reuse recycle”三个关键词。

教学难点:reuse与recycle的区别,以及倡议书的书写。

教学策略

情景教学法、任务型教学法、合作学习法

教学过程

Step1   Warm up

1.        Sing   a song: Going green

2.        Try   to think: What does “go green” mean in the song? It means take actively part   in protecting the earth. So let’s go green together. 揭题

3.        Free   talk: How to protect the earth? We should/should not…

Step2   Presentation

Reuse

1.      To protect our   earth, we should do from you and me. We should at first keep our house clean.   Show Pinch’s house. What do you think of his house? Dirty and messy.

2.      Discuss in pairs: Is   it good to keep all the things at home? No. What can we do to deal with them?   We can throw them into the bin. We can sell them. We can donate them. We can   also reuse them.

3.      What can we reuse?   For example, I can reuse newspapers to make a gress. What can you reuse? How   can you reuse them? Discuss in groups and finish the mind map.

4.      Enjoy some pictures   of reuse. 创造使世界变得更美好。

Recycle

1.      There   is a tag sale in Pinch’s town. It is a good way to reuse things. What is   Pinch going to do? He is going to sell his things. The animals raise much   money after the sale. They want to buy some trees for the town. Why? Because   trees help keep the air clean.

2.      Show   some pictures of Pinch’s town. It’s dirty and messy. What can Pinch do to   keep his town clean? He can…He can throw the rubbish in the bin.

3.      Pinch   finds a sign on the bin. What does it mean? It means recycle. Explain recycle.

4.      Explain   the differences between reuse and recycle.

5.      What   can we recycle? Discuss and write.

6.      Waste   classification.

Reduce

1.        Think   and say: How to reduce?

We   should use less/should not use too many/much..

We   should save/should not waste…

2.        Look   at some pictures about daily tips.

Step3   Consolidation

1.      A   short summary about 3”re”.

2.      Read   and discuss Pinch’s proposal: Keep our town clean.

3.      Try   to write our proposal: Keep our city clean.

4.      Let’s   go green.图片欣赏

5.      Let’s   go green, from our small house, to our city, to the earth.

Step4   Homework

1.      Discuss   and write a plan: How to spend a green Chinese New Year.

2.      Make   a poster about 3 “re”.

结合研究主题进行评析

本册书后面几单元都是环保主题,从城市到地球,本课的主线是三个关键词reuse recycle reduce,暗线是从保护小家到保护城市到保护地球的大家,在综合输出时要结合几个单元的句型,并且加入第八单元的一般将来时和第五单元的What does it mean? It means…,使学生能有话可说,并且培养环保意识。
