Step one: Warm up: 1. Daily greeting: 2. Duty report: day, date, weather 3. Free talk: T: What food do you like? Ss: I like … T: Do you like meat or vegetable? (新授bread, 新授meat, 拓展pork, beef, mutton, duck, fish… 新授vegetable, 拓展onion, potato, tomato…) Ss: I like meat/vegetable. T: You should eat more vegetables. They are good for us. Read the new words Step two: Presentation and new lesson: T: It’s eight/nine in the morning. We are having an English lesson. (PPT show Pic 1) What about Liu Tao’s family? What are they doing? Let’s watch Story time. T: What time is it? It’s six o’clock in the evening. Liu Tao comes home from a football game.(一场足球赛) Who are they? Liu Tao, Mr Liu and Mrs Liu. Where are they? Liu Tao and his parents are in the kitchen. What are they doing? His parents are cooking dinner. His father is cooking meat with potatoes. (做土豆烧肉) His mother is washing some vegetables.
