外研社英语分级阅读《Hans in luck》教学设计

一、教学目标

（一）知识目标：

1. 理解故事内容，并用恰当的语音语调朗读故事。

2. 模仿前面所学，能够根据课文内容，以小组的形式创编情景小剧。

3. 根据一定的拼读规律，自然拼读出fell，met,mill,luck,dock,peck等。

（二）技能目标：

1. 看图猜测意思，大致明白故事内容。

2. 在老师和图片的引导，自己提问并找寻答案。

（三）情感目标：

1. 懂得在不同情景下，我们会做出不同的决定。

2. 采取合作方式解决问题。

3. 明白不好的事情不代表不幸运：塞翁失马焉知非福，但中西文化也有差异。

4. 激发学生的家庭意识和深刻理解父母对他们的关心在乎。

二、教学重点

理解故事内容，并能在独立、小组合作等方式下学习此故事。

三、教学难点

1. 理解幸运的真正含义，明白塞翁失马焉知非福。

2. 在教师引导下一起说故事。

四、教学过程

Step1： Warm up

1. Review and talk

T:Hello, boys and girls! Do you like fairy tales? What fairy tales do you like?

Ss:…

T: Well, I like fairy tales too. Look, she is …

S: Goldilocks.

T: She is in the forest, walking and walking. There is a house. (1) If you are Goldilocks ,will you go into the house?

(2)If you are in the city now and see this house, will you go in?

T： 手指题目引读Hans in luck,揭题。

T： What else can you see in the picture？

T： Can you guess What was in the bag?

S: Maybe there was/were…

T ： 指出船，大海，（给出码头图）

引出Hans was at a dock.

T: Why was he at the dock?

T: 介绍背景 he worked outside. And he didn’t go home for many years. So this time he went…

S: he went home.

学习第2页，Long ago, Hans set out to visit his mum. 一起跟读，理解set out。

T： 介绍Paeony Lewis ( T： Hans in Luck is from  Grimm's Fairy Tales. the story is adapted by Paeony Lewis. )

T:Just now, we talked about What was in the bag. Do you have other questions?

引导： Hans in luck. Why?    What happened in the story?

T： with the questions, Let’s beginning our reading.

Look at the books and find the answers.

T： 引读It was hot on the road. Hans had a big bag of silver.

T: Hans had a big bag of silver. But look, he got home. He had…

S: He had no bag.

1. Look and order

T: What happened? What happened then? Let’s see. Oh, he met something. Can you make an order?

请一位同学上台排序。

T： Why is this No.1? From … to …, Hans got…

S: From the silver to the horse, he got the horse.

S: From the horse to the cow, he got the cow.

S: ……

(教mill rocks)

2. 学习第4-5

? T： Why did Hans want the horse? Look at the pictures.（做热、重、累状）

S：He was tired.

It was hot. The bag was so heavy.

T: So when he saw the horse, he said…

S: The horse was quick.（引出He looks quick，跟读并手指着马）

T：You can have…

S:（让学生找到线索you can have him for the bag of silver,跟读）

T： Hans was on the horse. Yeah! ...(出示What luck!加上动作)

SS:  What luck!（跟读）

T：I’m Hans now. Who would like to be the man. Let’s talk, OK?

T：Great! 请1组对话,要有交换动作。

?T: (第六页，Hans坐在马上）He was riding the horse.让学生根据上面的为什么要马的那些原因补充心理活动（the horse is quick. I can go home/see my mum early. What luck!）

④T：（听声音）What happened?

T 做摔下去动作，听读he fell off.请同学起来赛读（教）

T: (贴板书) Hans fell off. OW!

⑤齐读第4-7页。

3.部分填空（第8-10页）

?T：Hans fell off. Hans walked with the horse. (做热、累、渴状态) He said:

S: It is hot. I’m tired and thirsty. The horse is not so good/ can’t help me.

T: So when he saw the cow, he said…

4.Discussing time

T：The cow isn’t so good. Hans walked on. Then he wanted…

T： Discuss in groups

Why did Hans want the chicken? And then why did Hans want the mill rocks?

(1)Why did Hans want the chicken?

S:He liked eggs.

T: Yes, he was hungry. Anything else？

如果答不出

T：( 戳着奶牛，摇摇手) The cow had no milk. It isn’t so good.

(2) Why did he want the mill rocks?

S: He was hungry. He wanted the buns/ bread.

( 介绍石墨功能与buns)

S: The chicken isn’t  so good.

（也有可能同学说被鸡啄了，这时引出got a peck，做动作理解。

T: Hans got a peck. The chicken isn’t so good.)

5.Make a play

? T:Let’s make a play. When Hans saw the chicken, what did he and the man say? When Hans saw the mill rocks, what did they say? Rules: 出示please read Page 11-12 first, then make the play. 出示 please read Page 13-14 first, then make the play. You can choose one.  出示星级

?Act out

T： How many stars?

T： your plays are wonderful...

③出示11-14页图,一起读一读，看看发生了什么

教授miller, will, got a peck, fell in a deep pond

T：读deep, pond, fell in a deep pond, The rocks fell in a deep pond, 指读 oops

5. 复述板书 

T：(贴板书) Finally, the rocks fell in a deep pond.

Look! What happened? Hans set out to visit his mum with a big bag of silver. First, he got the horse. But he fell off. The horse wasn’t so good. Then, he got the cow. But the cow had no milk. The cow wasn’t so good. Next, he got the chicken. But he got a peck. The chicken wasn’t so good. Finally, he got the mill rocks. But the rocks fell in a deep pond. He had nothing.

7.学习最后一页

(1) T: But the title is Hans in luck. Why?

S: Because with no rocks, he was now quick.

T: With no rocks, he could…

S: He could go home early.

T: and see…

S: see his mum early.

T: It is also a kind of luck.

T: Look at his hands and he was running. Mum，I had good luck.

Take out your hands, let’s say “ Mum,…”

Step3: Consolidation

1. Chinese idiom

T： From the story, do you think of a Chinese idiom?

Hans had nothing, but he got home and see his mum early. It’s a kind of luck.

S: 塞翁失马焉知非福

如果学生不知道，我就介绍：有一个塞翁失马的故事，课后可以去看一下，塞翁失马焉知非福这个谚语就是出自这个故事。

2. Imagine

If you are Hans, will you exchange? From the silver to the horse?...

S：...

T： 如果都回答的Yes, I see you learnt a lot today.

如果回答No, different people have different ideas. But remember no matter what happened, be happy!

3. Reading time

Step4: Homework

1. Read the story and share it with your family.

2. T: Today we read this book. Here’s the full story. In the book, Hans had a pig.

Think: From __________to the pig, Hans got the pig.

And finish the dialogue.
