教学目标:
1. 能够通过默读、跟读等活动理解并会读was, were, drew, wanted, went, shouted, jumped, cheered, picked, made 等词;能够在情境中理解、会读dribbling, passing, shooting, heading, save, coach, goal, goalkeeper等词;
2. 能够独立阅读绘本,提取文章中与阿尔夫喜欢足球并与之发生的故事主线信息;
3. 能够正确的朗读故事并结合板书复述绘本故事;
4. 能够发挥想象力,结合自己的实际情况和文中提炼的新语言进行发现自己优势、勇于坚持、不放弃等方面事例交流。

重点:学生能够根据一定的提示,梳理故事主线信息。
难点:学生能够结合自己的兴趣爱好并利用本课所学,讲述自己的故事。
教学过程:
Step1 Pre-reading
1. Enjoy a song
What’s this song about? Do you like playing football? Can you play well?
Step2 while reading
1. Look and ask
T: Today we will read a story about football. This is the cover. What do you want to know? Can you ask some questions?
S: Who is the boy? Can he play football well? Is he good at playing football?
T: I want to know what’s the name of the story.
2. Give a title to the story
T: Let’s enjoy the pictures of the story. After that, try to give a name of the story.
S: Alf is good at football. Alf can play football. Alf loves the football.
T: Look, this is the name which the writer gives: Alf saved the day. Look, this is save. But save the day means do sth to avoid the likely defeat. Can you understand the name? And this is the Chinese name. It’s different from the English name. Which one do you like better? You can tell us at last.
3. Read and think
T: This time, I hope you can read again. Read the story quickly and try to divide the story into some parts. The pictures can help you understand the story.
4. Read and find
T: Now let’s read first part. Try to find out what else did Alf love doing? Remember the pictures may help you.
T: Alf loved drawing pictures about football. There were the pictures everywhere in his room.
T: Alf loved writing football stories. Look, he wrote a lot. Can you guess what would he say.
S: Mum, look at my new story. It’s interesting.
T; Alf loved watching football on television. Here, maybe Alf shouted like :
S: Hooray! Good job! Great!
T: Alf loved going to watch matches. Also Alf may said” great! Good job”
T: so Alf was a big fan. Can you read this part together?
T: How was Alf?
S: He was excited. He also got the support of his family.
5. Listen and circle
T: Can you guess what was Alf’s dream? Alf really really wanted to be a football star.
