Unit 5 A party

一、教学内容:

Revision & Extended reading

二、教学目标:

  知识目标

1.能听懂、会说、会读、会运用本单元的四会单词。

    2.能正确掌握,灵活运用一般将来时一般疑问句和特殊疑问句问法及其回答。

3.能熟练运用一般将来时描述派对计划。

4.能理解绘本故事内容并复述绘本故事。

技能目标

1.能在合理的情境中运用一般将来时的句型进行正确的表达。

2.能在绘本故事阅读中掌握一定的阅读技巧。

  情感目标

1.能感受派对的快乐所在之处。

2.能感受绘本故事中派对奇妙,理解朋友之间应尊重他人爱好,每个都是独一无二的。

三、教学重:

   1.复习巩固本单元知识内容。

   2.能正确掌握,灵活运用一般将来时一般疑问句和特殊疑问句问法及其回答。

   3.在绘本阅读中掌握一定的阅读技巧

、教学过程:

Step 1 Warm up

1. Free talk: T:Look at the blackboard,what are we going to talk about today?

              Ss:parties

2. Let’s play:Magic eyes

   What party is it? (拓展更多种类的派对,beach partyfarewell party)

Step 2 Presentation

 Revision time

1. T: What aspects can we talk about the party?

   Ss: When, what, why, where...

2. Lets play : Game (hot potato)

   Work in pairs:Ask and answer about the Childrens Day plan in story time.

  T: Why do you think the party is going to be exciting?

S:Because they can...

T: Everyone prepares for the party.

3. T:what else can we prepare for the party?

   Ss: presents, food, flowers,...

   T:We can also prepare programs. The animals prepares some programs for their class party.

Billy______________. Willy___________________.

Sam and Bobby____________.Its about___________.

The party is going to be_______________________.

(work in four and retell the cartoon)

T: Everyone prepares for the party, they have a happy time.

Extended reading

1. Lets guess

T: The animal is going to have party . He is Arthur. How is his party going to be ?

Ss: He is going to have a/an... party.

T: Scan the picture book and try to find the answer.

 At first, the party was...

 At lastthe party was...

T:Look at the cover of the book, actually Arthur is going to have a fantastic party.

   To have the party what is he going to do?

  Ss: Maybe he is going to...

 T: But why was the party cheerless at first?

2. Lets learn: (work in 4) Read P2-15, 完成学习任务单并交流。

  Step1.Read and circle

          Who was invited to the party?

Step2.Fill and say

         What could they do to make the party fantastic?

Step3.Answer and discuss

         Did they do these things at the party? Why?

3.Check the answers

(1).T:Who was invited to the party?

  Flora, ...

  Did Arthur invited them himself?

Who told them about the party? Ss: Flora

What would she say?

Why didnt Arthur tell the animals himself?

(2).What could they do to make the party fantastic?

(3). Did they do these things at the party? Why?

  Ss: No. Arthur said that doesnt fantastic.

4.T:What was wrong with the party?

     How did Arthur feel?

   If you were Arthur, what would you do?

  Flora came to comfort Arthur, what are they talking?

 (同桌编对话)

4. T:What happened then?

  Scene2 P18-21,完成短文

  Arthur said: That doesnt sound fantastic to me.

You cant come!

 Did he still think the party was not fantastic

Ss: No. They had a fantastic time.

Everyone enjoyed themselves at the party!

Step3 Consolidation

1. Lets think

(1)T:If you were the animals what did you want to say to Arthur?

If you were Arthur,what did you learn from the party?

Everyone is a fantastic one.

(2) TDo you want to have a fantastic party?

      What party do you want to have?

Ss: I want to have a /an___________party.

2. Lets plan同桌合作,帮助Arthur完成邀请函。

 

  

 Step4 Homework

Must do:1.  Read and retell the picture book Arthurs Fantastic Party.

2.Write a plan for your favourite party .

Choose to do:1.  Read more picture books about Parties.
