1. 学生能通过图片、动画等了解圣诞相关知识,并通过Mike一家了解圣诞习俗。

2. 基于故事听懂、会说、会读表示先后顺序的词:first, next, then, finally及相应的描述圣诞活动的句子

3. 学生能通过中西方最重要的节日,发现共同的节日精神,乐于传播文化和节日精神

教学重点:

1. 能听、说、读大量与圣诞相关的词汇

2. 能使用表示先后顺序的first, next, then, finally描述圣诞活动。

教学难点:

能够按时间顺序连贯地表达圣诞活动。

Teaching aids: 圣诞树、圣诞袜、西沃白板课件

Teaching procedures:

Step 1 Pre-reading

1.First,lets enjoy. (Show pictures.)

T: What are the pictures about? (根据学生回答教授Christmas)

揭题:Unit1 At Christmas

2.Next,lets talk.

T:What do you know about Christmas?

 (根据学生输出随机教授:turkey, pudding, present, Father Christmas,pudding)

设计意图:营造圣诞氛围,让学生从听觉和视觉多方位感受圣诞激活学生旧知。

T: What other things do you want to know about Christmas?

S: When’s Christmas? What do people do at Christmas? How do people spend Christmas? Who?

设计意图:激发学生思维,创设信息沟,为课文的学习铺垫。

设计意图:帮助学生整体感知课文初步感知圣诞节相关活动。

(小组活动:把文字贴到相应的图片下方)

4. Think and say

What words can we use to make the passage more logically?

Tip:First, next, then, finally等词能让语言表达更有条理。

5. Read and underline

What do they do before Christmas?

Teach : buy presentsbuy a Christmas treesee Father Christmassometimes,put some pretty things on the Christmas tree,put our presents under the tree

6. Read and write.

What do they do on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day?

Teach phrases: put a stocking on our beds , wait for presents,wake up early , open our presents, have a big lunch

Who is the realFather Christmas?

In fact, its the love from our parents.They give us presents we want when we are asleep. So we should thank our parents.
