1 Present the rhyme

T: (呈现sound time 图片）Look， Tom and Mike are flying a kite in the park. And their friend Mary comes.

2 Learn the sound of letter I

T: Can you read these special words correctly?

T: And these three words, can you read?T:Can you find out the pronunciation of the red letter “i”?

S: /aɪ/

T: Great.

S: It’s very cold.

T: Yes, The weather in Australia is quite different from China.

文化小贴士：

澳大利亚地处南半球，中国在北半球。地球是“斜着身子”在做自转和公转运动，当太阳直射点位于不同的半球（南北半球）时，地球吸收到得太阳辐射不同，因此地球表面获得的热量就不同，就会造成温度差异。澳大利亚虽然时差与中国（含港澳台）只有2-3小时，但是季节却完全相反。12月-2月为夏季，3月-5月为秋季，6月-8月为冬季，9月-11月为春季。
