教学重难点：

1.理解故事，并能用第三人称单数复述故事。同时对故事进行延伸，即如何实在梦想。

2.学生会运用What do you want to be in the future? I want to be… / I want to …询问他人的梦想，同时联系生活描述自己的梦想。

教学过程

Step 1 Warm up

Enjoy a song <Be what you wanna be>

T: What jobs can you hear from the song?

S:policeman. T:What else? (firefighter) T:So we call them...

S: doctor singer, lawyer,worker...

So you hear some jobs from the song, right?

T: Yes. Do you know the name of the song? The name of the song is Be what you wanna be.

So I want to ask you What do you want to be in the future?

S: I want to be ...a player .

T: All of you have Great dreams. Today we’ll learn Unit 8 Our dreams.（揭题）

Step2.While- reading

A. Look and say

T: We are talking about our dreams.Look, who are they? 

S: Su Hai and her friends.

T: What are they doing? S: They’re...

T: Today, Miss is asking them about their dreams. First, let's learn about boys' dreams. What do they want to be in the future? Let's watch the story and match. Please take out your exercise paper and do it.

B. Boys’ dreams

1. Watch and match

Get Ss to watch the cartoon of Boys' dreams.

Practise the sentence patter: --- wants to be a /an ... in the future.

2. Read and answer P78

T: Read by yourselves and answer the questions. You can underline the answers.

Get Ss to read P78 and try to answer.

T:Now let’s discuss. We know the children have dreams,right?But how to make therir dreams come true? If you were Miss, what advice can you give to the students to help them make dreams come true?

For example, YL will practise playing the piano every day. Maybe 2 hours or 3 hours a day right? So she should...

Every job has its value. Every job should be respected. And dream can be ordinary but shining and important.
