Step1. Warm up and new words 10 mins

1. Watch and think

T: Boys and girls, we are going to watch a video. When you are watching, think about this question: What is the song about?     

S: Jobs.

2.Let’s guess

T: Here are some pictures about jobs. Let’s have a guess!

T: If we want to know someone’s job, we can ask:What does he/she do? (从第二个开始，集体问，个人答）

And if you know the answer, you can raise your hands and say:

S: He’s/She’s a ...farmer(farm)/doctor/driver.

T:There are a lot of jobs in the world. Do you want to know about jobs?

T:Today, we are going to learn U5 (together) “What do they do?”揭示课题。

3.Let’s guess

T: Just now, we talked about jobs and look at these two kids.They are Mike and Suhai. They are talking about jobs too.  Can you guess whose jobs are they talking about?

Look at this picture carefully.

S1: Their family’s. How do you know that? Because Suhai had a picture in her hand. It’s a family photo. Whose picture? Suhai's family?

S2:. It's Mike's family. Look at the color of their hair. Golden hair. Yes or no? Yes. (Sharp eyes!)So maybe they're talking about? Yes, Mike's father’s and mother’s jobs.= Their parents' job.

T:This time let’s listen to the story and then tick out the jobs you hear. So plz take out your paper. Don't look at your story, just listen(手势）and tick the jobs. R U ready? let's go.
