教学内容分析

本课时主要教学Culture time承接上一个单元的文化板块话题,继续介绍主要英语国家的著名旅游景点。Cartoon time讲的是Bobby想当个旅行家,他神采飞扬地和Sam畅谈自己的旅行计划——去英国做一回绅士,去美国当一次牛仔,去澳大利亚当一回袋鼠宝宝。Sam听了之后非常兴奋,他想和Bobby同行,并询问Bobby如何去英国,Bobby的回答却让Sam感觉很不靠谱。

教学目标

1、能用句型“You’ll find in ”来描述不同国家的景点。

2、能理解Cartoon time内容,并灵活运用将来时描述自己的旅行计划。

3、通过卡通学习,能体会故事的幽默,培养学生对英语的喜爱之情。 

教学重点和难点

1、  能掌握并说出不同国家的景点。

2、  能理解、会读、会表演Cartoon time内容。

教学难点:

1、  能理解并正确读出景点名:

Uluru, the Grand Canyon, Buckingham Palace, Niagara Falls.

2、能熟练运用一般将来时描述自己的旅行计划。 

教学过程

Step 1 Warming up

1Enjoy a song about travel(课前)

2Free talk.

T: What is the song about

S:Travel(贴板书新授)

T:Do you like travelling?

S:Yes.

T:Me,too.But before travelling,What should we do?

S:We should read travel books,surf the Internet,ask our friends,make a travel plan......

(教师在屏幕上总结)

T:If you do all of these you will be a good traveller.

Step 2 Presentation

Cartoon time

T:Our frend Bobby wants to be a travellerPPT新授), too. He wants to travel around the world(PPT新授).What does he do before travelling?Let’s watch and tick.

1.     Watch and tick.

S:Read a travel book,make travel plans.

2.Read and fill

T:What are Bobbys travel plans? Do you have any questions about his plans?

S:Where.......,When........,How.......,How long........,What......(边板书)

T:I want to know the answers,too.Lets read the story and fill the blanks.

Check the answers.(练习纸)

T:How will Bobby get to the UK?

T:Can Bobby get there by taxi.

S:No.

T:Why?

S:.....

T:So how can Bobby get to the UK?

SBy plane.

T:When will Bobby go? and how long will Bobby get there?

   Can you find two answers in the story? But we can image.

3Read and act

1Read after the tape.

2Act in groups.(分表演等级)

4Think and discuss.

T: Do you think Bobby is a good traveller?Why?

S: Because......

T:So how do you think of Bobby?

S:Funny,Humorous,Unrealistic,Ignorant

Share:Seek the truth from facts. (实事求是)

Culture time

TJust now we talked about Bobby’s travel plans.Do you have a any travel plans?If we want to make a travel plan,what should we talk about?

S:We should talk about: Where will we go? When will we go?How will we go there?How long will we stay there? What will we do there?

T:Yes,first we should choose the destination.It includes countries, countries, scene spots.Before we go,we should know something about them.

1.Match and say  

1)work in pairs.

T:Before class you have learned a lot by yourselves.

Look at the map.Can you put the spots in the right countries?

(出示地图,学生根据自己的预习,同桌合作把景点和国家匹配,把序号选到相应的国家中。)

2)Share with class.

T:Now,who can be the teacher and show your familiar scene spots.

S1:Youll find....in......

Ss read after him/her.

T:Finally,after getting to the place,what will you see,eat or do there?

2.     Play a game

Riddles(根据提示,猜出食品名称)

Step3 Consolidation

Make travel plans

1.Disscuss

T:Now can you make your travel plans according to the notes on the blackboard?

T:How can you make your plans?      

S:Make a mind mind,draw pictures,write a plan.......

3.     Make and show

选择自己喜欢的方式做一份旅行计划,并在小组内展示。

Step 4 Homework

1Read cartoon time fluently and act out.

2Preview(预习)Sound time and Checkout time .

3Share your travel plans with your friends.

 

结合研究主题进行评析

本课主要围绕“travel plans”展开,语法延续了前一个单元的语法项目——一般将来时,比较简单,易掌握。本课重点是有关国家的地点名词,教师可以在课前准备关于国内外著名城市的图片或视频,用于教学活动中。师生可以利用课前准备的照片互相交流出游的经历和感受。对于比较难读的著名景点,可让学生课前作好充分准备。
