2. 能听懂、会说、会读、会写句型We use water to clean things.We should save trees.We shouldn’t drive so much

3. 能听懂、会说、会读单词:reuse, energy, most, coal, oil, wood, plastic

4. 能理解课文内容,并能尝试复述课文,能够尝试用shouldshouldn’t对日常行为提出建议并说明原因。

5. 关心环境保护,知道一些环保小常识。

教学重点和难点

教学重点:能正确理解并朗读课文内容,在教师的引导和帮助下复述课文内容。

教学难点:能理解课文内容,尝试复述课文,并能尝试提出建议并说明原因。

教学过程

Step 1: Warm-up

1.T: Hello, boys and girls. Now let’s enjoy a video first.

T: What can you see from the video?

Ss: Rubbish/Black smoke/...

T: The Earth is not beautiful as before, what should we do?

Ss: Protect the Earth.

T: Yes! We must protect the Earth now. Today we are going to learn a new topic.

2. Let’s read a title:Protect the Earth(揭题)

Step 2:While-reading

1)Scan and find

T: Boys and girls! Are you ready to be the green guards?

Ss: Yes!

T: Let’s go to step one. Please read the text carefully and find out four subtitles.

Ss:...Save water. Save energy/Save trees/Don’t use too much plastic.

Ss: We use water to clean./We use water to...
